Brandon McCarthy’s Uptown Loft Will Give You a 360 Degree View of Friday’s Fireworks Display

2935 Magnolis Hill CourtWhoa, this is one of those units that deserves the “O” word. Or maybe I should say, the “A” word. This is the Uptown loft of Arizona Diamondback right-handed pitcher Brandon McCarthy and his wife, Amanda.

Brandon McCarthyAnd the agent, darling Nancy Dunning at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s, is not using broker babble when she says “one of a kind”. Nancy knows of what she speaks! McCarthy is said to earn in excess of $10,000,000 a year so money was not only no option, it wasn’t even a dream when they decked out this place.

Adjacent to the Katy Trail and American Airlines arena, this is urban living with a full view of the city that is accessible, convenient, yet also very private. There are concrete and wood floors, floor to ceiling glass, and huge outdoor living spaces. No, that is not a restaurant, that is your own private terrace with a full outdoor kitchen! Inside the 4658 square foot loft there is a wine room, a study, full gym and get this: 4 car garage. That roof deck is more than 1500 square feet with dramatic views of both downtown and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.

Let us discuss polished concrete floors: I experienced them this weekend, and I love!

This town home was built in 1996, is nestled on a one-way street between Alamo and Harry Hines, and walking distance to Victory Park and the Dallas Design District. Check out the master bedroom, huge closets, and long car-wash style shower.  I kind of like the gym, too, and the soaking master tub for after a good work-out. There are three bedrooms, three full and one-half bath, three fireplaces including one in the master, and organsmic marble. No pool or hot tub, but bet you could put one in. Listed with Nancy Dunning at $1, 950,000. HOA dies only $550 per month.2935 Magnolia Hill Court closet

Lots of action going on in this place, lots! Maybe I should out it this way: the granites and marble in this loft will make you see fireworks! Like right out the window!

This place is EVERYTHING. It is one of the most beautiful condo listings I’ve seen in a while! That master bath shower is fantastic.
