Tuesday Two Hundred: Defying The Laws of Physics, This East Dallas Home is Much Bigger on The Inside

OK, are there any Doctor Who fans out there? I don’t want to out myself as a geek without some kind of safety net. If you’ve ever watched the classic British Sci-Fi show (and seriously, why haven’t you?) then you know that the Doctor’s spaceship, which is called the TARDIS, has a very special feature in that while it appears to be a very cramped police telephone box on the outside, it’s actually a much larger spaceship on the inside. If you need to actually see what I’m talking about, check out the TARDIS on Google Maps. I’ll wait right here.

Pretty cool, right? Well, let’s just say that the TARDIS was the first thing I thought of when I saw this adorable East Dallas home in my inbox. This cute post-war traditional at 9144 Bretshire Drive seems much bigger on the inside — I mean, how on Earth (or Gallifrey, for that matter) do you fit a grand piano inside one of these homes? It has to have some kind of Time Lord technology to work.

But if you’re not a Sci-Fi geek, and you’re no fan of Doctor Who, you’ll still appreciate this three-bedroom, two-bath home with more than 2,300 square feet inside. There are two living spaces as well as a kitchen that opens to a spacious dining area. The home is updated to perfection, with gorgeous new floors and paint. The kitchen is perfection with an eat-in peninsula, beautiful fresh cabinets, stainless steel, and granite counters.

The bathrooms have been updated, too, with fresh cabinetry, counters, and tile. You’ll really appreciate all of the work that has been put into this home, and you’ll love the price even more. This home is marketed by Ebby Halliday Realtor Julie Silva for just $210,000! It’s a great area that is very accessible to White Rock Lake and Buckner Boulevard, but it still feels very private. I just love it, don’t you?
