Is Your Dishwasher a Member of the Clean Plate Club?

Folks at the Washington Post are serving up a monthly series on household appliances. So I am offering you this nugget on dishwashers, because when it comes to dishwashers, I am very picky. They must clean, sanitize, and do so quietly. Me, I’m a Miele queen. I also think every kitchen should have two dishwashers minimum — and in the kitchen, none of this put a small one in the bar routine. After a good party, you have a pile of glassware that you end up carting to the kitchen anyhow. So let me know what you think. I mean, who would ever invest in a decent Second Shelter without great dishwashers?
