Tuesday Two Hundred: Big And Beautiful Loft in Walkable West End

By Joanna England / March 11, 2014 /

I am really kind of stunned that you can find a loft in the West End for less than $200K, but it’s true. In fact, I’m flabbergasted that you can find such a large one — more than 1,500 square feet — in such a walkable, urban area. But it’s true! All of it’s true!…

Vegas Bachelor Parties Are Passe! Help This 30-Something Guy Find a Weekend Lakehouse Rental For 8 Friends!

By Joanna England / March 7, 2014 /

Is it just me, or is the Vegas all-you-can-drink uber-debauched stag/bachelorette party gone passe? Maybe I’ve watched “The Hangover” one too many times (OK, I watched it once, which may be one too many), I think so. Or maybe it’s just because I’m officially in my 30s, but what this dear CandysDirt.com reader is describing sounds just perfect.

Our dear reader is looking for some out-of-the-way bachelor party accommodations for eight guys to get their relaxing weekend on. Requirements: near a lake or river, within about an hour or two of Dallas, and plenty of room to get rowdy.

This sounds like someone who would really love a weekend stay at Long Cove, which is a perfect second home haven for lake lovers and weekenders on Cedar Creek Lake.

Great Western Home Loans Featured Realtor: Meet Michael Tiller of Keller Williams, Tiller of Soil, Saver of Fish

By Candy Evans / March 6, 2014 /

Our Great Western Home Loans featured Realtor this week is Michael Tiller of The McKissack Group. Mike is not only a seller of homes, driver of pick-ups, and tiller backyards, and saver of Koi ponds: he’s a selling machine with 94 homes sold last year. Turns out he was just getting warmed up for 2014 …
Michael makes sure his clients are well taken care of, not unlike our sponsor, Jeff Lindigrin of Great Western Home Loans. Jeff takes great care as a lender, as he should. Of course, every sale should have a lender that works just as hard to get a great deal as their Realtor. What has your lender done for you lately? Find out what you’re missing by contacting Jeff Lindigrin with Great Western Home Loans today.
