Hot Monday Morning House Porn: Don’t Judge a Book by The Cover — Even at $500K

Share News:

From the outside, this house at 7136 Aberdeen in the way cool Meadows is kind of blah. And I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to improve that exterior — I am not fond of that paint color on the stucco, and is it me or is that door too dark and heavy and well, Plano, for the mid-century vibe?

But once inside, this home is va va va voom — look at the gorgeous kitchen. Cathedral ceiling. I feel a masculine touch in the decorating — like the master bath — but it is not bothering me one bit. You?

So taken back to studs. I mean, this gal has had some work! Updates include: electrical, windows, doors, stucco exterior, stone entry way, Bosch SS gas range & double ovens, spa shower with frameless glass, jetted tub, double vanities, solid oak flooring, porcelain tile, granite, cabinetry, built-ins, lighting, hardware, fixtures, moldings, arbor, gutters, landscaping, spinkler system and more. Four bedrooms, three baths, 2823 square feet, built in 1964 on almost 1/3rd acre. Asking $538,835.

Like I said, you cannot judge a book by  the cover. Sometimes the inside is way better, sometimes waaaay worse.

I'm loving those kitchen cabinets, and that master bath. Think I need to make trip over there this week for a sneak peak.

I am wondering why they left the parquet flooring in the family room – I am sure every buyer will comment even if it is in great shape like it looks to be.
