As promised, we have a very special treat for our loyal readers today!

While tonight is the famed auction party sponsored by Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate benefiting the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA, themed “Friday Night Fever” this year (do you have your jumpsuit ready?), tomorrow kicks off the two-day home festival that has become somewhat of an institution in East Dallas.

Truly, the Lakewood Home Festival is not only a fabulous event where you get to see inside some of the most incredible homes in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in all of Dallas, but you also get a chance to see how this community supports its schools, as it has become a model for other home tours throughout Dallas that have become major fundraisers for neighborhood schools.

6425 Blanch. I like water features and the views from the house. It is always relaxing to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the water environment change.
