When we consider the features that make real estate resonate, a few key aspects come to mind. Whether it’s dazzling design elements, exotic locale, or immense square footage, audiences gravitate to homes that speak to their aspirations. When something comes along that truly hits the mark, the market responds.

Jessica McMurtrey with Ebby Halliday found out first-hand just how jazzed the real estate world can get after listing a stunning Midcentury Modern in Far North Dallas/Brentfield.

“The reaction I’ve had from area realtors has been unlike anything I’ve experienced,” said McMurtrey. “As soon as we listed this home, we’ve had requests from so many who want to shoot the property for their Instagram pages. It’s drawing a ton of interest with a growing social media presence.”

Of course, the hype is totally justified here. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,203-square-foot property perfects the MCM aesthetic from all angles.

“The custom cantilevered driveway with Corten steel accents gives this home so much personality,” she said. “The exterior is so unique and really establishes a sophisticated tone before you ever step inside.”

Then, once you actually enter, the interior pays the intrigue off in stunning fashion. With museum-finished walls, epoxy-sealed concrete floors, and an abundance of windows, this home defines contemporary.

“It was taken down to the studs in 2020 and completely reimagined by the owners,” said McMurtrey. “It is a very special home and showcases modern design and convenience at every turn.”

The open concept allows you to traverse all gathering areas seamlessly. The formal living and dining spaces coalesce around floor-to-ceiling glass, blurring the lines between interior and exterior spaces. With plenty of space to assemble, this home allows elevated entertaining in that one-of-a-kind Midcentury Modern fashion.

The chef’s kitchen is a premium culinary paradise. Just over the jumbo slab waterfall island, a Subzero fridge, Bertazzoni range, nugget ice machine, and large walk-in pantry create professional experiences.

Then, the primary suite is perfectly poised for luxury retreats. With plenty of space and a private outdoor entrance, this room feels like a true resort escape.

Of course, the en-suite bathroom brings luxe spa experiences just beyond the bedroom as well. An oversized sunken tub, dual vanities, and an enclosed walk-in shower up the standards for serenity.

Exploring this home gives you so much to uncover. With an abundance of bedrooms, flex spaces, and gathering areas, you’ll find that every corner captivates imagination and presents possibilities.

Finally, the showpiece of this home is its stunning in-ground pools and turfed outdoor oasis. In true MCM fashion, this area is easily accessible and interactive with other parts of the home. It’s completely secluded and features a retractable projector screen, making it perfect for parties at any hour.

After touring this home, we can certainly see why agents, influencers, and Instagrammers are tripping over themselves to take this one in.

Jessica McMurtrey with Ebby Halliday has 7127 Crooked Oak Dr. listed for $1.17 million.

Toured this house. Its biggest problem is that a lot of the materials used are substandard. The IKEA cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom are already falling apart. And it needs a full repaint and deep clean.
