Anyone who’s house-hunting with a budget no greater than $320,000, save yourself some time and gasoline with one-stop shopping.

Head over to the highly-coveted Indian Creek neighborhood. Located in west Fort Worth, the Indian Creek gated community consists of condominiums near Shady Oaks Country Club. Within this compound two different one-story condos are on the market right now, each one priced well below $320,000. They’re both similar and different — and worth checking out.

“They both have similar square footage,” said Realtor Kelly McLean with Williams Trew Real Estate. “And the location is fantastic.”

Quiet, Gated and Secure

Agreeing with her is colleague Jo Ann Royer, a Realtor also with Willams Trew Real Estate. She likes Indian Creek well enough, she decided to live there herself.

No matter which condominium appeals to a buyer, both Realtors think the Indian Springs community has a lot to like.

“We have had a surge of young people because they don’t want to do yard work,” Royer said. “It’s great for people who the lock-and-leave lifestyle.”

The development was built in the late 1960s and early ‘70s and is divided into north and south segments. Amenities include two swimming pools, tennis courts, a clubhouse and covered parking. Surrounding condos feature floor plans ranging from smaller one-story homes to more spacious two-story condos. Near Fort Worth’s tony Westover Hills, the condominiums are less than 15 minutes by car to downtown Fort Worth.

“It’s a great place for young people starting out to have a safe place,” McLean said. “I would also say it’s quiet and people are very friendly. It’s a comfortable complex.”
