Plano is So Boring: Want Mass Transit, Classic Buildings, And an Urban Feel? Move to Downtown … Plano!
Share News:
I always dreamed of moving into downtown Dallas, but there just doesn’t seem to be much in the way of family-friendly properties with the amenities I want in the price point our family can appreciate. Still, I love the idea of urban living, being close to shops and restaurants, and having quick access to mass transit.
Normally you won’t find things like this if you have an address in the suburbs, so color me surprised when we stumbled across the townhomes of Lexington Park at Rice Field.
Priced in the $200,000 range, these townhomes have excellent finish-out and tons of great features. There are five different floorplans available ranging from 2,126 to 2,351 square feet, including both 3/2/2 and 3/3/2 units.
I love the master bath in the model unit, which you can see in the very neat video above. Seriously, the Branch Team did an excellent job marketing this new development!
What do you think?
and this is not boring?
Personally, I think they're cute and in a great location. Nothing boring about that!

[…] downtown Plano isn’t hot enough for you (is everything happening in Plano, or what???), perhaps this hip condo in Victory Park will whet […]

Joanna & Candy, thanks for sharing this great luxury town home community in my city – Plano! I had the good fortune to stage the model unit (and if you looked closely at the props you may have seen the hint to the farmland period gone by – the wall art in the dining room is actually hay tines welded together) it's urban living in a historic down town environment. I have seriously considered purchasing one of these units myself as an investment property…I'm still dreaming. I've staked my claim on one of the back forty… The Branch Team, RE/MAX Dallas Suburbs have done a fabulous job with the marketing & I was thrilled that Unique Exposure Photography captured the vibe & essence of downtown Plano.

Tom, no way! Perfect timing after we all just forked over a significant chunk of change for property taxes. Remind me please to include this info in a story I'm doing soon about Farmer's Branch and where to buy a home and avoid property taxes! You rule and proud to have you on board!
