Wedgwood Wonder Lands on Weekend One Hundred

In our quest to find affordable homes in Dallas-Fort Worth, we’ve found ourselves in Fort Worth’s Wedgwood neighborhood — with a home that has loads of updates and upgrades and plenty of amenities within a quick walk or drive.

Wedgwood is bounded by Granbury Road, Altamesa Boulevard, McCart Avenue, Westcreek Drive, and Interstate 20. It’s parceled into smaller enclaves like Wedgwood South, Wedgwood East, Wedgwood Square, and Wedgwood — which is where our listing this week sits at 6804 Lancelot Court.

This 1975 home shares its all brick construction, attached garage and Ranch design with the rest of the homes in the neighborhood. But the three-bedroom, two bath home has been the subject of some serious updates and upgrades, making its 1,849 square feet feel much fresher than its “Starsky & Hutch” era counterparts.

It’s been fitted out with plantation shutters, updated vinyl plank flooring in the main living areas, and custom doors in the utility room and pantry.

The kitchen design marries the original details with stainless steel appliances and a farmhouse sink and adjoins a dining area with banquette seating running along the back wall.

A spacious master suite has a generous en-suite with two walk-in closets, double sinks, and plenty of storage.

Outside, a large patio overlooks a big backyard, perfect for family hangouts and summer nights at the grill.

The home is priced at $199,900 and is listed by Samantha Balcom with eXp Realty. To see more, click here.
