A Billion-Dollar Year and an Agent Culture That Delivers at Christie’s @properties Lone Star

When we talk about the top brokerages on a global scale, Christie’s International Real Estate quickly comes to mind. Founded in 1987, this brand has built a reputation for selling some of the world’s most prestigious properties. Therefore, there’s a lot to live up to at the local level. Meeting the meticulous standards of this powerhouse brand means maintaining a world-class portfolio of agents and offering unparalleled service, knowledge, and expertise. Thankfully, Jerry W. Mooty Jr., CEO, Principal & Broker for Christie’s International Real Estate @properties Lone Star, is always up for the challenge.

As Christie’s Lone Star closes another year, the independently owned company has a lot to reflect on and be proud of. With four offices in Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin (with a 5th opening in January), the brokerage closed just over $1 billion in transaction volume for the first time in its four-and-a-half-year history. In addition to closing hundreds of transactions throughout Texas, the company was recognized for superior service, entrepreneurship, and a one-of-a-kind culture by the industry’s top voices.

And The Winner Is…

Among its most notable honors, The Dallas Morning News named Christie’s Lone Star “Best in DFW – Best Real Estate Companies” (People’s Choice), underscoring the firm’s white-glove dedication to its clients.

The company was also recognized as Best Places to Work by the Dallas Business Journal 2025, which follows Top Workplaces in DFW by the Dallas Morning News in both 2023 and 2024 — a testament to the company’s collaborative culture and support.

In Central Texas, the Austin American-Statesman awarded Christie’s Lone Star Top Workplaces Austin honors in 2024 (#2) and 2025 (#1), reflecting the firm’s love for their agents in the Austin market.

The Dallas Business Journal further acknowledged the agency’s momentum by naming it to the 2025 Fast 50 list as the 13th fastest-growing company in DFW over the last three years. The honor is based on measured financial growth against all businesses in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Entrepreneurial enthusiasm and industry leadership did not go unnoticed either. The Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business and the Dallas 100™ listed Christie’s Lone Star in their Dallas 100™ in 2024 and again in 2025. This accolade is determined by looking at a company’s compound annual growth rate over the last three years, credit reports, and its character.

On the global stage, Christie’s International Real Estate honored Christie’s Lone Star with the Gavel of Greatness Award for Best Affiliate Expansion, recognizing the firm’s successful launch and rapid growth in the Austin market.

In addition to company accolades, Christie’s agents from all the Texas offices are consistently being recognized by D Magazine, Modern Luxury, Real Trends, Elite25, Luxury League, Platinum Top 50, and Real Producers, to name a few.

How Hard Work Pays Off For @properties Lone Star

“The greatest satisfaction for me personally is to see our agents and the company receive local and national accolades for the hard work we have put in the last four and a half years building Christie’s Lone Star from scratch,” Mooty said. “Best Places to Work, on one hand, shows that our leadership is doing the right things internally with our agents and staff; and, awards like the DBJ Fast 50 and The Dallas 100™ show that we are doing things the right way as a business.

“I don’t think I have had a more rewarding year in my professional career, and I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.”

While we can never predict the real estate market, one thing we can be certain of is that Christie’s International Real Estate @properties Lone Star will bring superior client service, innovative solutions, and the best culture into the new year.
