Having Downsized From Their North Pole Log Cabin, Santa and Mrs. Claus Move to Oklahoma
Share News:

So we pick up where we left off yesterday. Santa and Mrs. Claus decided to move and put their North Pole cottage on the market asking a cool $1.207 million. They decided they were done with wearing mukluks and 20 pounds of clothes to stay warm. So they downsized, packed up their remaining wares and moved to….. Oklahoma!

I know, I know. It’s not what I was expecting either. Oklahoma? Why would they voluntarily move to Oklahoma? Let’s not get bogged down in the deets. Santa and Mrs. Claus are now Okies and they are so happy with their new homestead that they did a photoshoot showing off their home.

Ho, ho, ho! Wrong photoshoot. Oopsies. You can take that any way you want. Merry Christmas from me to you. I digress.

“’Twas the weeks before Christmas, when all through the home not a creature was stirring-except Santa, alone.”

“The Claus couple arrived for a mid-season rest, proclaiming this home was North Pole-approved and the best.” Rhyming poetry about a house! Everyone give up the snaps for listing agent Melissa Barnett.

“While Santa was working, Mrs. Claus took a dip, a bubble-bath retreat after her long workshop shift. A glass of red wine, and the candles all glimmered… “Ahh,” she declared, “this spa bath’s a shimmer!”

“Then into the kitchen they floated with glee, baking cookies and laughing-oh how sweet life can be!”

“The quartz counters sparkled, the appliances gleamed; “This is the kitchen,” she said, “that every baker has dreamed.” Okay snarky Mimi here, the Santa decor above the gas stove takes “chestnuts roasting on an open fire” to another level. Just sayin’.

“In the game room upstairs, the two took a break, playing Twister and giggling ’til their sides seemed to ache.” Again, snaps to the listing agent. She may be my favorite writer.

“Outside, Santa paused with a sack full of cheer, delivering presents as if Christmas were here. He looked all around at the trees hugging tight- “This peaceful setting,” he whispered, “feels just right. …before Christmas arrives, and the season turns bright… Your perfect new home is waiting for you tonight.” The listing agent has earned a hearty tip for going above and beyond.
With that my friends, I wish you and yours a very Happy Christmas. May you have a day filled with fun and many laughs.

This home located in Edmond, Oklahoma, is listed for $570,000.
