Mermaids, Manatees and Dolphins Await You in this Florid-iest Florida Home in Weeki Wachee

A long time friend was enchanted with mermaids. From the tailfin to the lore of mermaids in general, being a mermaid, swimming with mermaids was something she always wanted to do.

Bingo! Now that we’re on the same page, I’ll continue. Now, being a woman in her mid-40s she thought her opportunity to swim with da fishes had passed. But lo and behold, her aunt and uncle, who were in the late 70s found a mermaid camp. That’s right, a mermaid camp. So for her birthday, they purchased her a weeklong stay at mermaid camp located in, you can guess, Florida.
From that moment on, everything was geared toward Mermaid camp. She let her hair grow really long because mermaids have long hair. She worked at holding her breath for an extended period of time because, you know, mermaids do that kind of stuff. The time came and she left for mermaid camp. She had a blast. That bucket list item was checked off.

Yes, I do believe maracas added to the joy of learning to swim in a mermaid’s tail. Now, I give you all of this prelude because there is a home for sale in said town where the mermaid camp is held. The name of the city is Weeki Wachee (of course it is) and this home is the Florid-iest Florida home that I have ever come across.

If you were expecting anything less, then you just have not been paying attention.

“This slice of paradise is located on the Main and Wide part of the Weeki Wachee River, a seven-and-a-half mile long waterway of spring-fed beauty that leads out into the Gulf of Mexico. Those navigating the waterways have been awed by the colorful paintings of sea creatures that wrap around the [home’s] magnificent large 145 foot seawall.”

“Launch your kayaks, go swimming or fish right in your backyard and just enjoy all the Weeki Wachee Spring has for you, from manatees to dolphins for truly a unique experience.”
I thought you had me a mermaid but throw in some manatees and dolphins. I have just one question: Who wants in on buying this house with me?
To humor you, we will take a look at some of the indoor photos. It’s not like we’re going to spend that much time indoors but I’ll go with it.

All the etched glass is mermaid themed.

Aside from the floating face against the backwall, this is a perfectly normal living room.

An absolutely chill sunroom with palm trees.

Indeed! Really, if you want to see more of the interior knock yourself out. I’m going back outside.

This house has a large private rooftop. We can enjoy a smart cocktail as we soak in the view of the stunning, crystal-clear waters. The best part? There are no neighbors across the river except for the animals living in the wildlife preserve.

So there you go my peoples, mermaids, manatees, and dolphins all located in Weeki Wachee, Florida. Yes my little manatee, I am down to clown as well.
This fun and chill home located in Weeki Wachee, Florida is listed for $1.3 million.
I can just feel the humidity in those picture.

With this being Florida, one hopes it’s ONLY manatees and dolphins in that water!
There were no disclosures as to what else could be in the water. ha ha Thanks for the read. Have a great weekend.
