A new luxury community with bottom-floor retail just opened up in Carrollton, adding more than 300 units with rents ranging from $1,625 to $3,150.
Ohio-based The NRP Group put up the apartments just off the Sam Rayburn Tollway at 1402 Carrollton Pkwy, less than a half-hour drive from downtown Dallas. The property, known as Diamond Flats, also boasts convenient access to major employers and retail districts.

Comprising 331 luxury units, Diamond Flats has 5,000 square feet of its own retail space on the ground floor. Amenities include a fitness center equipped with free weights, spin bikes, squat racks, a Pilates reformer, and high-intensity interval training equipment. There’s also a pool area with TVs, three landscaped courtyards, and a coworking lounge.

“Diamond Flats was created with residents at the center of every decision,” said Alena Savera, vice president of Development at The NRP Group, according to a press release.
Each apartment has stainless steel appliances, laundry machines, keyless entry, and vinyl plank flooring. Some units also have private balconies.
“We thought carefully about what people want in their daily lives, from abundant natural light to thoughtful touches like under-cabinet lighting, mirrors, and quartz surfaces. This community reflects those choices, offering residents larger layouts, premium amenities, and a unique design perspective that makes Diamond Flats stand out in the Carrollton market,” Savera said.

Residents’ furry friends will also feel at home, with amenities of their own on the property, including a dog park, spa, and washing station.
Outside the units, the community’s aesthetics resemble an art gallery, with curated artwork hanging along the corridors. The interiors were designed by SJL Design Group. The architect on the project was Davies Architects.

Despite its Midwestern origins, The NRP Group is no stranger to North Texas. The builder and multifamily community manager has projects going in Anna, Howe, and Princeton. So far, it’s got over 7,000 apartment units under its belt across 30 properties in and around D-FW.
