The Fort Worth community lost a pillar of Real Estate before the books were closed on 2024.
Joan Trew, iconic Fort Worth Realtor, philanthropist, and community leader, passed away on Dec. 31, surrounded by her beloved family in the city she so loved.
With a real estate career spanning more than 44 years, Joan was a pillar of the Fort Worth real estate community and co-founder of the eponymous real estate brokerage, Williams Trew, established in 2000 alongside Martha Williams and Marshall Boyd.
Joan’s vision, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit transformed the local real estate landscape, while her philanthropic efforts enriched the community she loved. Joan’s kindness, faith, and commitment to service left an indelible impact on everyone she encountered. Hundreds of home buyers and sellers were impacted by Joan’s knowledge, warmth, and dedication to taking care of their needs.
A devoted follower of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the woman who found homes for so many Fort Worthians, has now found a final home in eternal peace.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched throughout her extraordinary journey.
