A second phase of stylish luxury Dallas Urby apartments is now available for lease in the trendy Design District.
Urby entered the Dallas market in 2022 with the first of three 27-story towers featuring 383 apartments at 1930 Hi Line Drive. Urby officials announced last month that leasing is underway for a second apartment tower, which includes 365 units. A third tower is planned at the 4-acre site near Stemmons Freeway and Oak Lawn Avenue overlooking Turtle Creek.
The $98 million project is a joint venture between David Barry, founder and CEO of Urby, and Brookfield Properties. Barry is the brains behind numerous noteworthy properties such as the Standard East Village in Manhattan, Chiltern Firehouse in London, and W Hotel in Hoboken, N.J.
“Dallas Urby represents our commitment to redefining urban living with future-forward design and community at its core,” Barry told CandysDirt.com. “This new phase continues to reflect our vision of creating a place where convenience, connection, and lifestyle come together in the heart of the Dallas Design District.”
Dallas Design District And The Amenities of Dallas Urby
You gotta love the Design District, a chic Dallas neighborhood known for fine-art dealerships, sleek furniture showrooms, textile shops, and locally owned pubs and eateries.
Dallas Urby fits right into the mix. It’s designed by Amsterdam-based Concrete Architects and local Dallas architect 5G Studio Collaborative, known for featuring striking views and imaginative design. Designer Eliane Le Roux of internationally recognized Bureau Bas Smets created new amenities and social spaces including a stylish work-from-home study and a unique speakeasy. A new public restaurant space will complement the existing Meteor Café and its expanded outdoor dining area.

Phase Two of Dallas Urby
The new phase features one- and two-bedroom layouts starting at $2,280 per month. The complex has a fitness center, yoga studio, landscaped courtyard, prismatic pool, dog park, pet grooming station, barbecue grills, fire pit, and pretty much anything else you could imagine. It’s like living in a fancy hotel, except you probably have to make your own bed.

Located at the intersection of Hi Line Drive and the Trinity Strand Trail, Dallas Urby provides easy access to a 2.5-mile urban trail along Turtle Creek, with future connections to the Katy Trail.
