My favorite month of the year is about to say adios. I love August, despite the heat. August is named after Rome’s first emperor, the lofty Augustus who reportedly never broke a sweat. And neither did Team CandysDirt.com as we welcomed summer celebrating First United Bank’s fabulous “Real Estate Event in the Preston Financial District.” Co-hosted with CandysDirt.com in June, this beautiful location is First United Bank’s newest bank and mortgage center in Berkshire Court.

It was the highlight of our summer!

With more than 124 years serving customers, Oklahoma-based First United is a family bank in every sense of the word. They truly are family-owned, but they also serve multiple generations of families, treating them like their own family. But they’re not small by any means — First United is the third largest bank in Oklahoma by assets and the 127th largest bank in the U.S. by assets with $16.1 billion in assets.

But First United Bank at Preston Center is also the very first place to look for a mortgage with its veteran team of lenders: Michael Addison, Scott Moize, Greg Reichel, and Scott Wells.

“We’re here to inspire and empower you along the way with information that educates, empowers, and inspires each person to reach their highest purpose,” says mortgage sales manager Michael Addison. “You will be hard-pressed to find a more knowledgeable mortgage partner.”

Or a better party!

Berkshire Court is the heartbeat of the Preston Financial District — the striking white stair-step building you’ll see as you drive Preston and Northwest Highway. The area is Dallas’ sleeper bank mecca. There are 52 bank branches in this area, and growing. That’s more banks than exist in downtown Dallas (47 according to the map I sourced). Given the sweet spot of being nestled in-between the high net worth of Preston Hollow to the north, and the Park Cities on the south, with high net worth demographics almost as robust as Rodeo Drive and Fifth Avenue. First United Bank’s mortgage group snapped up a solid gold location — pop your head in for a visit.
