3831 Turtle Creek: elegant living and what a view!

This is one of those stories where the photos do a much better job of talking than me. How can you not possibly swoon over this exquisite penthouse, 3831 Turtle Creek Blvd., on the 23rd and 24th floor of The Warrington, one of the most elegant, established, high-end high-rises on Turtle Creek?

It used to be that Turtle Creek was where Highland Park went to downsize. While that still rings true today, the city has many other high rise options from downtown to Uptown.

But The Warrington on Turtle Creek still holds the panache, the elegance, and the best views. I love those new, modern buildings, but there is no way on Routh or Flora streets, you will enjoy the daily panoramas of verdant Turtle Creek landscapes that you get from The Warrington. Plus the show-stopping lobby: the Warrington always makes me feel as if I am in an elegant New York City high rise and I’m about to emerge from oceans of marble onto Fifth Avenue to window browse.

For years, Turtle Creek was the Dallas version of Park Avenue. And Judy Pittman reigned over this market as the queen of Dallas high rises.

Major Dallas names have called The Warrington home: Eric Jonsson, Judy Pittman, Dr. Joe Goldstein, and many others. Most agents tell me, on the side, that no other building offers the level of service and attention to detail as the Warrington does.

Ageless Design With Modern Amenities

Once you step through the main doors and cross the lobby to the elevators, you’ll find a plethora of architectural styles in the highly-customized homes. The Warrington’s clean-lined architecture has transcended its 1980s beginnings to become a perfect example of how good modernist design never ages.

The spacious homes have some of the largest high-rise terraces in the city. This is a full-service building and the amenity list is long: It includes a fitness center, heated saltwater pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and a dog run.

Warrington Condo With Style

Penthouse 23A at 3831 Turtle Creek enjoys spectacular views of Turtle Creek, Lakewood, and downtown Dallas. Sleek and contemporary, you walk into a dramatic, double volume living space featuring an 11 foot wide stocked fish tank, spiral staircase and open dining room, den, and a 1960’s era bar for serious entertaining.

Should that winding staircase be too daunting, ride the private glass elevator up to the breathtaking owner’s suite with covered terrace and an oversized second bedroom or study.  The home in the sky has two large bedrooms, two full and two-half baths, formal and informal living areas, and an oversized kitchen.
