A stunning $3 million home in Melshire Estates that once belonged to 2020 U.S. Open winner Bryson DeChambeau is on the market, but not for long.
The five-bedroom, six-bath estate at 5469 Brookstown Drive was already under contract after less than two weeks on the market.
The 5,339-square-foot home features a high-definition golf simulator in the media room. That’s not surprising, as DeChambeau is nicknamed “The Scientist” for his analytical approach to the sport.
The Brookstown Drive home once showcased DeChambeau’s awards from eight PGA Tour wins and the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational, but the new owner will have to bring their own hardware.
DeChambeau played in eight Masters tournaments and became the third player in history to win the NCAA Division 1 championship, the U.S. Amateur, and the U.S. Open. The other two golfers preceding him were Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
In 2022, DeChambeau left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, which is funded by the Saudi Arabian monarchy. His four-and-a-half-year LIV Golf contract was said to be worth $125 million, according to the Dallas Morning News.

About That House …
DeChambeau bought the home in Melshire Estates in 2018, shortly after it was built. The North Dallas neighborhood is near Forest Lane and the Dallas North Tollway.
In a 25-minute video tour of the Brookstown home, DeChambeau says he’s building a “new crib.”
It would be hard to leave behind the luxury pad at 5469 Brookstown Drive, but the 30-year-old Southern Methodist University graduate has roots in Big D.
The listing describes the first floor of the half-acre property as “a seamless open layout, blending an owner’s suite, a cozy guest bedroom, and a chef’s kitchen with top-notch appliances and updated cabinetry [and] hardware.”

Three lavish suites are upstairs with a high-end pool table, media room, and “multiple flat-screen TVs thoughtfully left by the owner.”
So … in case you missed that, you can watch Bryson DeChambeau play golf on Bryson DeChambeau’s old TV.
Bryson DeChambeau’s Outdoor Oasis
A patio oasis features a built-in grill and fireplace, complementing a huge backyard pool.

A fire pit makes the gathering space ideal any time of the year. The home has a Kinetico Water purifying system and several recent updates including fresh paint, landscaping, lights, and fixtures.
“I love it; I love it dearly,” DeChambeau says of the Brookstown home in his tour video. “I have a lot of memories in this house. I couldn’t have done it without winning a U.S. Open, Arnold Palmer, and numerous tour events. It’s amazing living here.”
Realtor Jessica Smotherman with Rogers Healy and Associates listed 5469 Brookstown Drive for $3 million.
