DC Comics Fan Uses Wonder Woman And a Whole Lineup of Female Superheroes to Sell Their Home

It never ceases to amaze me the level of ridiculous conversations I have with a particular friend when we get together during happy hour. It is our D&D (drink & debate) time. On tap last week were female superheroes of the 1970s. No we are not solving the world’s problems but we do make ourselves laugh.

The current generation of young girls have a vast array of female superheroes to enjoy. When I was little, there was Wonder Woman. A solid superhero but she was the only one. My friend brought up The Bionic Woman and said she was on the same level as Wonder Woman.

I can only conclude that my friend had pre-gamed before we got together because the Bionic Woman is not even in the same league as Wonder Woman. She only became the Bionic Woman because her parachute ripped during her sky-diving date and she broke her legs, her right arm and right ear. Her date convinced his boss to save her life because he could then use her to work secret government missions since she was indebted to him for saving her life. The woman is unconscious and two guys decide her fate does not a superhero make. Do I need to say it?

Believe it or not, all of this brings me to the house featured in this week’s column. It is a steal and just what every delusional person needs when they think the Bionic Woman is equal to Wonder Woman.

Yes ma’am! You can find Wonder Woman in all her caped glory at 50 Bare Hill Road, Topsfield, Massachusetts in this four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home. As you can see though, she is not alone. That is Catwoman behind her in this 3,267-square-foot house where the owners are asking $1.069 million.

I love how the kitchen opens to the living room, but does anyone know who the lady is in what looks like a cheetah outfit?

[Editor’s Note: It’s Poison Ivy, Mimi. Get it together]

On the opposite side of the living room and kitchen is yet another Catwoman. You can tell she enjoys the tall ceilings as well.

Look! It’s Batgirl and she even has her motorbike! You know it is a nice size bedroom when you can fit a motorbike.

Supergirl! I love DC Comics. Just sayin’.

The owners did a really nice job finishing out the basement. Anyone know who the lady in red is? There is a big cookie in it for you if you do.

[Editor’s Note: Pretty sure that’s Elektra. Where’s my cookie?]

You know who I have not seen in this house? Yeah, you guessed it, the Bionic Woman. I will drink to that.

Okay, you get the cookie and not Jo. That is Roulette. Now in my defense, Roulette is a 2001 superhero. I am a ’70s girl. ha ha Thanks for the read. Have a great day.

Hate to say it but one is not DC. That’s actually Chun Li from the 90’s movie with Van Dame.

Chun Li is the first lady of Fighting games. I had to look her up because I had not heard of her. What a description! Thank you so much for the read. Have a great day.

If only they could have added Captain Marvel from Marvel comics.

I know! I was disappointed when I did see Captain Marvel. I love that they went with the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman. I love Gal Gadot but Lynda Carter is the OG Wonder Woman. Thanks for the read. Have a great day.

It’s Chun LI as portrayed by the fabulous Ming Na Wen in the 90’s movie based on the video game, Street Fighter II.

LOL I love reading your posts in your voice. I did add “….,Baby!” to the last sentence. And no, the bionic woman isn’t even in the same universe much less the same league as WW is.
