MetroTex Association of Realtors Names Justin Landon as New CEO

Justin Landon is no stranger to the real estate industry. In fact, he was pretty much born into it. And while he spent the last six years leading the Lexington, Kentucky-based Bluegrass Realtors, his recently announced role as the CEO of MetroTex Association of Realtors is somewhat of a homecoming for Landon.

Landon’s previous positions include a stint as vice president of government affairs at the San Antonio Board of Realtors.

“My family and I are overjoyed to be coming back home to Texas and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect with the MetroTex Realtor community,” Landon said in a statement.

Landon said he’s “honored” to join MetroTex as CEO, and the organization’s leadership seems to be just as thrilled.

“Justin’s association experience brings a unique set of skills that we were looking for to lead MetroTex to the next level,” said MetroTex President Ashley Gentry. “He has a proven track record in both the public and private sector, and we look forward to his leadership with MetroTex.”

Landon, who was selected after a nationwide search conducted by an appointed committee last year, is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara, with 10 years of experience working in the United States Congress.
