When Joseph Romero was considering a new brokerage, he had one passion that he couldn’t ignore — a love for European travel and culture. A history buff and frequent flier across the pond, Briggs Freeman’s Sotheby’s affiliation was a huge factor that drew Romero in.

“For me, it was about aligning with a brand that supports me and my clients,” Romero said. “I have a love for travel and a desire to continually broaden my horizons. I embrace opportunities to learn from different worldviews, backgrounds, and cultures. It’s one of the many reasons why I love to welcome those relocating to Texas. What’s more, as a member of the world-famous Sotheby’s International Realty network, I can connect clients to properties anywhere, whether main homes, vacation homes, or investment opportunities.”

Romero, who is joining Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty’s Fort Worth outpost, has been an award-winning, record-setting Realtor out west for years. With nods from 360 West and 76107 Magazine, Romero is not one to stop chasing the next big thing. Romero says that he thrives on achieving goals for his clients, seeing every transaction as a partnership. And the people of Fort Worth and Tarrant County are benefiting from his tireless work ethic.

“This is where I am a local expert and have been told that I am good at what I do,” Romero told CandysDirt.com. “For me, this is about serving the client. I love working with people and serving people. There is nothing better than seeing someone’s dream come to fruition.”

Joseph Romero is a big believer in serving his community, too. He serves on the Fort Worth Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Commission, acts as an ambassador for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and dedicates his time as a facilitator at The WARM Place, a local grief-support center for children and teens. Additionally, he serves at One Safe Place, which focuses on creating a safer community for all.

His focus on service and community leadership is largely due to Romero’s father and his influence on the Fort Worth Realtor.

“My father — he is my inspiration,” Romero said. “After his passing last year, I learned of just how many lives he had touched. He left an impression on so many throughout the community. He inspires me every day to continue his legacy.”

I have no doubt that Joseph will be the #1 agent in the Tarrant County market in just a few years. In over 40 years in this business, I have never seen an agent so consistent & methodical in growing a big business – from the thousands of hand-written notes to his expertise in social media – Joseph is dedicated to excellence and is truly the future of this business.
