Roxann Taylor Brings Barbies, Bellinis, And Lots of Pink to Southlake Broker Open

Share News:

Pink, fuchsia, bubblegum, petal, blush, bashful, rose, baby pink, coral, raspberry …

All those pinks and more — a rainbow of pink overflowed at the “Barbies, Bellinis, and Bling” broker’s open last week in Southlake, hosted by Roxann Taylor, franchise owner of Engel & Völkers Dallas-Fort Worth.

Agents were encouraged to bring their best Barbie — or Ken — vibes, and the result was enough pink to think you’d fallen into a can of pink paint. Pink dresses, pink shorts, pink jewelry, pink shoes, pink headbands, and pink jackets floated through the house at 841 S. White Chapel Boulevard.

Broker’s Party Time

Up the drive from the gated entry, car valets relieved attendees of their keys so they could rush that much more quickly into the estate with loads of yard space to park all the cars. The estate, listed at $6,285,000, includes 2.43 acres in the middle of Southlake so there was definitely space for a few cars and a few cars more.

This Southlake dreamhouse estate has enough space for several Barbie cars.

Entering through the double doors, the guests walked into the foyer, where raffle tickets were sold to benefit Taylor’s favorite charity, Special Olympics. Then the next stop was stopping by the new party trend: a 360 photo booth, fringed with — you guessed it — pink. Popping in and out were plenty of pink-clad guests taking their turns dancing in the booth.

Bellinis were found in the kitchen, along with pink-frosted cupcakes. The charcuterie board was filled with lots of deliciousness, including M&Ms — all shades of pink, of course.

A Barbie Broker Open

Since a broker’s open is a marketing tool to entice Realtors to show a home to their clients, actually touring this Southlake mansion was every bit as important as sharing a bellini and cheese cube with real estate friends. Besides curiosity about the floor plan of the 10,307-square-foot house, there were other reasons to meander through the various rooms.

Vendors were scattered around, found in bedrooms, and living spaces offering more pink attire, more flashy bling and even services a Barbie or Ken might need to maintain the lifestyle. Guests could check out new wardrobe essentials — with more than enough pink — to polishing that Barbie Dreamhouse’s stainless steel. Nikko Blu Boutique, Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center Southlake, Stainless Refinishing, Makeup Junkie Bags, and D-Flawless Concierge Jewelers were among the businesses chatting up the parade of people in pink.

Southlake Dreamhouse Has Room For Ken And Skipper

The home, listed by Taylor, offered plenty of space, enough to be in the Barbie dreamhouse category. With five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, there’s room for Barbie, Ken, Skipper, and all the rest of the group. Built in 2012, the house has everything Barbie would want in North Texas: an elevator, a four-car garage, a balcony, a media room, a library, a home gym, fireplaces, and a swimming pool.

This foyer is large enough to install a 360 photo booth and still have space for a lot of friends.
The living room offers expansive views of Southlake.
Barbie could dream here.
Barbie could watch any movie she wants right here.

It’s close to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, so Barbie can jet off to anywhere she needs to be for all of her careers — whether it’s astronaut, attorney, ballerina, nurse, race car driver, news anchor, or musician. But maybe she needs to take advantage of the home’s library so she can study for her next career.

She’s not been a Realtor … yet.
