Rogers Healy And Associates’s Bridgette Harrington is a Real Estate Jill of All Trades

Rogers Healy And Associates’s Bridgette Harrington is having one heck of a year. But she’s a Millennial, so we’ll say she’s having a moment. Her real estate career is gangbusters and it’s all social-led.

She has a background in event management for the restaurant group that owns Whiskey Cake. And she just completed her first home remodel. But we’ll get to that. First, let’s back up and explain how Bridgette Harrington came to be an influencer first and then a Realtor.

She’s had an Instagram account since the platform launched — and a TikTok account, too. In the beginning, both were personal accounts for friends and family. When she transitioned from event planner to apartment locator, she started using her accounts to showcase some of her listings. That’s when she noticed her TikToks were going viral. And if rentals were taking off, she could only imagine what would happen if she switched to selling houses.

She made the change. As a licensed Realtor, Harrington started posting every day and sometimes even twice a day featuring her homes and incredible properties she came across. The social world was in. By posting so frequently, she was able to build a steady fan base. Before she knew it her followers were approaching 50,000.

In 2020, Instagram introduced reels and she started doubling down. Harrington said from the beginning, she’s picked up business from both accounts. She said the key for her is to have a solid mix of home and personal content.

“Followers like to know who you are and what you’re about,” Harrington said. She’s always done her own voiceovers, never shied away from the camera, and features her life and her husband, too.

“When people reach out to work with me, they feel like they already know me,” she said. “They’ll comment on something I posted and I’m, like, yay it’s working.”

She loves getting to share her life and her story with her followers.

Redefining Remodels

Over the years she said one comment she’s heard from clients is how predictable remodels are. They all look the same, frequently use run-of-the-mill, nothing-special materials, and leave clients wanting more.

1601 Surrey Court, Harrison’s first remodel, listed for $525,000

It was something Harrington was ready to tackle — the latest in her long line of challenges. Could she bring her vision to life? Could she create a remodel that felt like a custom home?

You can see for yourself at 1601 Surrey Court, but the overwhelming response has been “yes.”

She created arched doorways to help it stand apart and she’s really proud of what she accomplished. There aren’t many homes with the level of detail she pulled off. Especially at that price point.

Bridgette Harrington Takes on Design

Harrington said people have already reached out and asked if she’ll help them design their homes. Her response? Why not? Maybe it’s the next chapter in her ever-expanding career. She makes the most of whatever comes her way. She and her husband recently bought a cabin in Mineola, the second of their two Airbnbs.

As far as where she lives and works? The answers are McKinney and everywhere. Most of her sales come from Dallas proper, but she really is everywhere.

If you’d like to work with Harrington or just want to follow along, you can find a link in the bio of her Instagram where you can reach out. Or you can just look at all the pretty interiors like the rest of us.
