After a year that brought changes all over the industry, market, and region, it’s no surprise to see some of the brands that have risen to the occasion. Of course, it’s the brands with staying power that are truly thriving, and we’re not shocked that Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is among them.

Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced that its 26,000 agents around the world — including about 400 of them right here in North Texas at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty — achieved an outstanding $167 billion in total 2022 sales volume.

That is especially impressive because 2022 was a year of shifts and changes in the real estate industry. Clients needed someone who had navigated tough markets before — someone who had succeeded no matter the circumstances.

Clients put their trust in the experience, stability, and expertise that Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is so well-known for.

An Expanding Footprint

That’s not all. The network expanded its global footprint, opening new offices in existing locales and forming the largest real estate company by sales volume in Oregon with the partnership of Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty. And, first-ever offices were opened in Egypt, Kazakhstan, and Serbia, making the network 1,075 offices in 81 countries and territories.

Sotheby’s International Realty was, once again, the No. 1 most profiled luxury real estate brand in the news, with more than 60,000 press placements. Sotheby’s International Realty also has more than one million social media followers now — and a jaw-dropping 48 million visits to sothebysrealty.com in 2022 alone. A whopping 75 million of their videos were played. (FYI, that impressive sothebysrealty.com was awarded Best Real Estate Website in the People’s Choice Category in the 25th Annual Webby Awards, in 2021.)

A 2023 For The Books

The current year should be another one for the books. Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is part of the growing Peerage Realty Partners — and it was just revealed by T3 Sixty, the leading real estate consultancy, that Peerage Realty Partners is one of only five real estate companies in the world that achieved sales-volume growth in 2022. Of the five companies that saw growth, Peerage Realty Partners achieved the highest increase in sales volume: an astounding 79.3 percent, year over year.

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty has also added mortgage and title services to its suite of services, by way of exciting new relationships. Connected Home Lending Partners is backed by a trusted nationwide lender and goes above and beyond the traditional mortgage company by bridging the gap between agents, clients, and loan officers. With competitive rates, multiple loan programs, and local market expertise, Connected Home Lending Partners boasts an unmatched 99-percent loan-approval rate. Momentous Title is a team that is, at the same time, elevating the title-service experience for clients and agents. It boasts exceptional industry experts whose No. 1 goal is to provide a seamless, efficient transaction and a refined closing experience for all. Momentous Title’s mission is to provide that every day, from prior-to-contract execution through closing day and beyond.

As the famous Sotheby’s International Realty slogan says: Nothing compares. All of these numbers and recent developments prove it.

Twenty-twenty and 2021 were unprecedented markets — hotter than ever imagined — and now the industry is experiencing another shift. The continuing low number of available homes means you need an expert agent more than ever. One thing we know for sure: Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty agents are successful in markets that are hot, cool or somewhere in between.

“You can trust them, always,” brokerage president Russ Anderson says. “And trust is really about feeling at home. Which is exactly how we want you to feel all the way to your new one.”
