Construction first began on Mayfield Farms in the year 2020, and the new single-family home development has really taken off since that time. Located in Southeast Arlington close to the border with Mansfield, Mayfield Farms provides easy access to Highways 360, 287, and I-20 and is now in Phase 2 of construction.

Currently available residences in the community range in price from $420,000 to $590,000 and home sizes range from 1,730 to 3,600 square feet. With houses varying from single-story three-bedroom homes to two-story seven-bedroom homes, Mayfield Farms can accommodate families of all sizes.

Homeowner Mina Phan was one of the first few residents to move into the Mayfield Farms neighborhood and said it was honestly one of the best decisions she has ever made.

“We moved in here in May 2021 and we could not be happier,” Phan said. “We are right across the street from a park and the Arlington recreation center. There are several grocery stores and shopping centers less than five minutes away, and probably the biggest thing is that it is a part of the Mansfield ISD, which is a really good school district.”

Phan said that one of the aspects of Mayfield Farms that she finds the most appealing is how neighbors know and look out for each other.

“It’s a close-knit community,” Phan said. “We have a Facebook page to keep us updated on what’s going on in the neighborhood, which is great.”

The schools that serve Mayfield Farms are Imogene Gideon Elementary, Della Icenhower Intermediate, James Cobble Middle School, and Mansfield Timberview High School, all of which are a short jaunt from the community.

The park across the street is Webb Community Park, which is 70 acres that offers a variety of amenities and activities, from a basketball court to a hike/bike Trail (0.5 miles), to a pond, fishing, grilling, a natural area, a pavilion, a picnic area, a playground, a practice field, restrooms, soccer league fields, a skate park, and a splash pad.

The Beacon Recreation Center is also close to the Mayfield Farms neighborhood and includes a gymnasium, fitness, and weights area, aerobics and dance studio, outdoor aquatics feature, adventure playground, and much more.

The neighborhood is also near Walnut Creek Country Club and Mansfield National Golf Club for any golfing enthusiast.

Just a short drive from the Texas 360 Toll road, Mayfield Farms offers easy access to the nearby cities of Mansfield, Midlothian, and Fort Worth

There are also plenty of entertainment options, such as Six Flags, AT&T Stadium, and Globe Life Park, all of which are within a short drive from the community.

Mayfield Farms is a pet-friendly neighborhood, with well-kept lawns and plenty of sidewalks.

Phan said that she loves her neighborhood and would recommend it to anyone looking for a centrally-located, safe, and secure community with easy access to a lot of shopping, restaurant, and entertainment options.

“We think that Mayfield Farms is a great place to live,” Phan said. “We moved here two years ago and we love it here.”
