A Single-Story Ranch That’s Been Taken To The Next Level

Hello. I mean HELLLLLLO. Over in Sam Dealey Estates, there’s a jaw-dropper that you’re about to meet and, most likely, fall in love with.

It was recently renovated from top to bottom by a professional contractor. He was creating this home for himself, but then the country called, and he decided to raise Mastiffs and even though this backyard is abundant, it’s not Mastiff-sized.

And now, this gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS home is completely ready for you. Dave Perry-Miller’s Melissa O’Brien said the couple completely embraced the earthy vibes of the oversized lot and ran with it.

On the interior, you’ll find soothing grays and greens contrasted with natural wood grains. As O’Brien pointed out, this home is for the buyer who wants something a little different than the traditional white and gray. Something different … but EXCEPTIONAL. It has some Colorado vibes for sure, and I literally cannot picture a more perfect home to call yours for the holidays.

The couple redid it all. We’ll pause and do an updates list here … well, a partial one because there is truly too much to list … electrical, plumbing, appliances, refinished hardwoods … and the finish out. AHHH. The finish out. They took their cues from the original home design, added to it and elevated the heck out of it. The tile around the fireplace was there, but the way they complemented it was the mossy gray green walls and added trim to the adjacent picture window makes it really special.

In the kitchen, they added a high-end granite to the countertops that pairs perfectly with the honey-hued cabinets. There’s recently added millwork throughout, the windows and doors were replaced – both inside and out — obviously the color palette shifted and the whole vibe of the house did, really.

But the integrity of the original design remains. The classic mid-century ranch lines on the exterior give W. Greenbriar tons of curb appeal and the hardscaped backyard is so easy to maintain, too. O’Brien said it’s low maintenance but still offers plenty of green space for pets and parties. There’s an outdoor kitchen, flagstone seating area, and covering so you can enjoy your oasis all year long.

As far as the street, O’Brien said she sold the one next door and the one across the street and the neighbors are wonderful. Kessler School is right up the street and Roberts Forest is right around the corner.

If you’re up for a grand tour, head to 810 W. Greenbriar Lane for an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The home is listed for $875,000.
