Hollywood Heights Home Tour

We are thrilled that one of our favorite home tours is back in person this year.

If any neighborhood knows how to have fun, it’s Hollywood Heights, and the home tour has been one of the highlights for almost three decades.

“We’re so excited for the return of the Hollywood Heights Home Tour and the opportunity to showcase some beautiful and unique homes in a really special neighborhood,” Home Tour Chair Sara Ramos said. “We welcome our friends and neighbors across D-FW to come out and join us as we celebrate one of the city’s most vibrant and unique communities.”

Historic Hollywood Heights

Hollywood Heights is a Conservation District with one of America’s largest collections of 1920s and 1930s stone-embellished Tudors. Homeowners here go the distance in renovating and updating these historic homes, all within the conservation guidelines.

It’s always a treat to see who has made the cut for the home tour each year and what they’ve done to their homes. It’s a great place to find inspiration.

No Small Celebration

Never content to have a simple tour, the organizers have pulled out all the stops this year.

The festivities begin on Friday night, September 30, with a Wine Walk and Candlelight Tour and segue into the home and studio tour on October 1. This year, for the first time, two home studios are on tour featuring neighborhood artists working in various mediums from sculpture and painting to photography and cement casting.

The party continues Saturday night with the annual auction at Bowlski’s (the former Lakewood Theater). Enjoy the signature Hollywood Punch cocktail and dance to Majestic Soul while you bid on some great items. Your host for the evening is John Thompson, an award-winning journalist, and host of Discovery’s Adventure Cities.

Shuttle service will be available for the Saturday evening event.

Proceeds from the Hollywood Heights Home Tour benefit local schools and neighborhood initiatives.
