This North Dallas Home Looks So Good You’ll Think It’s Staged

Two years ago, Ebby Halliday’s Janine Bayer helped her incredibly tasteful buyers purchase this home. Bayer said at the time it was a blank slate with a great layout. And now, it’s so good it received multiple offers and a call for best and final within days of hitting the market. And yes, that has been the way of the world recently, but with interest rates climbing up, it’s becoming the story less and less.

Unless, of course, there’s one like this that’s so undeniably good in a great location and at a solid price.

It’s one of those homes that’s very unexpected.

The exterior is a classic North Dallas traditional, but inside it’s out of the pages of a magazine. Bayer said this is one that just needs to be seen. She also said that just about everyone that came through the Open House this past weekend asked if it was staged.

That’s the taste of the current owners. Bayer said that’s just how they live — picture perfect. When they moved in, they added their own touches, including a board-and-batten wall in the breakfast nook off the kitchen.

And now with the official title — board-and-batten — now you know exactly what to ask your contractor for.

They also ran luxury vinyl plank throughout the home. It’s such a beautiful floor with realistic wood grains. It takes this home to a very transitional place. They modified the space, but not the layout, by turning the formal dining room into a second living space.

Out back they added turf and pavers and Bayer said it’s essentially a third living space. The backyard proves the point this whole house proves: you don’t need mega square feet when the layout is spot on and the space is functional. That’s the way you make a home live larger than it is.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the owners are minimalist where the décor is so streamlined and tasteful it looks like it was — well, just like the Open Housers said — staged.

On top of everything else, 6934 Aspen Creek is located in a community with a clubhouse and a pool.

Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Janine Bayer listed this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home at $480,000.

Nikki, what a find! Immaculate taste and living! I’m curious about exterior/outdoor rugs. Want to try one on my patio. Are they hard to keep clan?
