This Weekend’s Open Houses To Showcase Hidden Suburban Gems

Share News:

It’s all about open spaces for summer gatherings in this weekend’s open houses.

A corner lot in Plano, new construction in Heath, and an updated spot in Frisco top our list of trendy, spacious homes open for viewing.

Entertainer’s Paradise

The stately stunner at 3833 Lakedale Drive, Plano, has five bedrooms and a three-and-a-half car garage, but the real MVP is the entertainer’s backyard.

Nestled on a huge corner lot shaded by mature trees across from the greenbelt, the 4,400-square-foot dwelling has tons of open space.

The home was built in 1998 and recent renovations include two five-ton air-conditioning units, two water heaters, light fixtures, and a fresh fence.

The backyard features an updated, refinished pool with a midnight-blue pebble stone surface, luxury stamped concrete, a pergola, and an outdoor kitchen with a brand new grill. The patio offers even more space for entertaining guests.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by vaulted ceilings with lots of sunlight. The spacious kitchen features granite counters, brand-new stainless steel appliances, double ovens, and fresh paint with a see-through fireplace.

The layout is almost strategic — offering lots of privacy and, well, social distancing. The master suite is downstairs with a luxury remodeled bath featuring a glass shower, jetted tub, and dual vanities. The family room and four large bedrooms are upstairs.

Realtor Christy Mullins with Redfin Corp. is listing the home at $850,000.

An open house is set for noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 14.

New Construction In Heath

This brand new four-bedroom is under construction in the posh Heath Crossing community and is slated for completion late this summer. The abode at 511 Torrey Pines Circle, Heath, will be one of 27 homes in the new community that backs up to hike-and-bike trails and Buffalo Creek Golf Club

Built by Centre Living Homes, the “Travis Plan” boasts high ceilings in the living room, a study, and an open kitchen for entertaining. The second floor has three bedrooms, a media room, and a large game room.

Realtor Kristen Peters with Pinnacle Realty Advisors is listing the home for $716,449.

Open houses are set for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15.

Family Fun In Frisco

Guests won’t want to leave once they see this freshly-renovated home at 3100 Camden Bluff Road in Frisco’s sought-after Pearson Farms

The 3,226-square-foot abode has brand new waterproof flooring, 5.5-inch baseboards, new lighting fixtures, low-maintenance quartz countertops, and a brand-new cooktop and microwave.

Built in 2006, it’s as good as new with all the updates. The master bathroom features a frameless shower. The location is perfect for a young family, as the home is within walking distance to exemplary-rated Frisco ISD campuses Vaughn Elementary and Reedy High School.

It’s less than 10 minutes to the Dallas North and Sam Rayburn tollways.

Guests can gather in one of three living rooms, or tell tall tales in the formal or casual dining areas. A vaulted ceiling with a boxed beam in the family room and hardwood floors create an open feel that needs very little decor.

The kitchen has stainless-steel appliances and freshly-painted white cabinets. Take the party outside on the stamped concrete patio.

The foundation was repaired in 2021 and the water heater and roof are less than four years old. The community offers parks, a swimming pool, walking and biking trails, and a new playground.

Realtor Brian Wu with Brilliant USA Real Estate LLC is listing the home at $719,000.

An open house is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14.
