Check Out This Merriman Park Traditional Made Modern

This is truly an entertainer’s home filled with natural light, updates everywhere, an incredible pool, and one very unique feature — an open-air atrium.

Dave Perry Miller’s Sally Nobleman said the atrium is what sealed the deal for the owners when they purchased it. Because the whole house wraps around it, all those windows are largely responsible for the flood of natural light. It’s also a great place to gather for parties and get-togethers. Not so much for an egg hunt (relevant) on account of there’s no real place to hide the eggs, but that’s kind of the new way of the world anyway, just toss the eggs in plain sight and lets the kids trample each other in an attempt to bring home the most snack-size KitKat bars.

But let’s go back to this house. It’s so freaking gorgeous!! It doesn’t hurt that the Sellers have exceptional taste either. All the walls are perfectly neutral and there are fabulous touches everywhere. Like that way cool modern swinging doors on the water closet in the Primary bathroom. It’s an update of the teeny saloon doors we were all captivated by in the 1990s. The Primary closet is HUGE. Partly because it used to be a fourth bedroom. When you have taste this great, you know you have a serious wardrobe so exceptional use of the space!!

The kitchen. OH MY GOSH THE KITCHEN. It’s sleek and modern with top-of-the-line appliances including a double oven AND a convection oven. (Like Nobleman said, ENTERTAINER’S DREAM.) It opens to the dining room with views of that stunning atrium.

Then there’s the temperature-regulated wine cellar with room for more bottles than you’ll know what to do with.

The dark wide plank hardwoods are the perfect contrast to the white walls and again, I have to say the interior design in this one is impeccable. It mirrors the perfectly manicured lawn out front. It’s so crisp and clean and a little bit like a work of art — just the right amount of furnishings with a delightful mix of materials to make it feel warm and welcoming.

If you’d like to see 9451 Viewside Drive in person, head to the Open House today, Saturday, April 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nobleman has it listed at $724,900.

That’s a huge wine rack. It might be cool to tie in with a local winery and feature some of their product for staging.
