Lock, Leave, And Live The Good Life in This Gated Community

With the world slowly opening back up for travel, those of us with insatiable wanderlust have not wasted any time booking flights and resuming bucket-list trips. After 15 months of staycations and Discovery channel marathons, we’ve been hittin’ it hard because … well, we’ve got some lost time to make up!

Here’s a home that just might give some back — and it’s open Sunday from 1-4 p.m. if you’ve time for a quick round trip.

For starters, Love Field is not even two miles away from 9106 La Strada Court, an updated three- (or four) bedroom, four-bath with a Mediterranean exterior, and move-in-ready transitional interior. And D/FW International Airport is only about 20 minutes away. It even looks like it belongs in Santa Barbara, if your travels take you to the West Coast.

Right about now, we’re hoping we have your attention — like a cabin full of passengers straining to hear every hilarious word the flight attendant utters as they make their way through a “modified” safety presentation.

Paige and Curt Elliott with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate have the 3,806-square-foot listing, which is perfectly priced at $725,000 for all the convenience it offers.

“It’s in a 12-home gated community where like-minded neighbors live and look out for each other,” Paige says. “I think they’d all agree the location is probably the biggest benefit to living here. Travel aside, there is also a Central Market, several restaurants and other convenient retail stores within a block, making everyday errands a lot easier.”

Curt adds, ”It’s also very close to the Medical District for any professionals who want a short commute. And Downtown is very accessible via the Tollway or I-35.”

“We have enjoyed living here for 12 years and love it. Since we travel a lot, being close to the airport is an advantage … only 20 minutes away. This is a small community and everyone watches each other’s houses for strange cars or people. We feel very safe at home or away.”

La Strada Neighbor

Since location isn’t everything, we should probably touch on a few additional features that make this home such a great value. After all, if you don’t love coming home as much as you love leaving it for a new adventure, why bother?!

The exterior spaces are divine… and low maintenance. There is a private courtyard entry with a water feature and a large covered patio, also with a water feature, just off the den with a fireplace. The adjacent kitchen is well equipped, with a breakfast bar, wine fridge, and lots of storage.

The primary suite is downstairs as is a study that could be a fourth bedroom. And upstairs there is an additional living room that feeds into the two secondary en suite bedrooms.

A neutral palette and windows galore make everything light and bright, and incidentally, complete our tour. Now, go book that flight — er, schedule a showing, with Paige or Curt before this one takes off! Paige – 214.478.9544, Curt – 214.675.8353
