Love them or hate them, celebrity endorsements work. Star power not only adds cachet — it can get a brand noticed.

According to the New York Times, many A-listers are going beyond just being the “face” of a company. Instead, they’re signing on as creators, collaborators, or creative directors, ushering in a new phase of celebrity branding.

Here, four of our favorite home décor partnerships.

Alicia Keys and Amazon: Alicia’s Must Haves

This innovative houseware collection is the second installment in Amazon’s Hometown Heroes program — an ongoing series in which the style-savvy Grammy Award winner and e-commerce giant team up to surprise a deserving community member with a home makeover.

Items include an intriguing curated assortment of Keys’ must-haves: furniture, decorative accessories, tableware, electronics, linens, and more.

Expect to find everything from a sleek, ultra-chic green velvet sofa to an architectural stainless steel accent table. We also adore the retro rose gold toaster and electric kettle. And don’t miss the bargains. A cool mid-century accent chair is priced under $120; a superbly stylish leather table lamp, under $30.

As it turns out, Key’s dog, Samba, also lives a pretty fashionable life. The collection features an irresistible array of pooch-related picks—think chaise lounge, treat dispenser with built-in camera, elevated bed, even an interactive puzzle for IQ training. Or up your pup’s style quotient with a herringbone rope leash or personalized pink leather collar.

Diane Keaton and Aidan Gray for Perigold

The Oscar-winning actress and luxury furniture manufacturer collaborated on this line of bold black-and-white lamp shades. Patterns include houndstooth, diagonal plaids, stripes, crosses, and faux marble.

“Many of the shapes and patterns in the collection are reminiscent of what is in my home,” says Keaton in a press release. “The greatest satisfaction for me was seeing all of the small details come together to make the collection complete.”

Gwyneth Paltrow and CB2

This line-up of sophisticated furniture and accessories is exactly what you’d expect from style maven Gwyneth Paltrow — a partnership between the actress and entrepreneur’s lifestyle company, Goop, and CB2. Highlights include luxe velvet sofas, comfy shearling chairs, and curvy coffee tables.

“Our priority was to nail this juxtaposition of functionality and elegance,” according to Paltrow. The result? “Uniquely layered furniture and décor made with love and an almost obsessive attention to quality.”

The Curvo pink sofa, a nod to Italian midcentury design, sports fluid lines; the Belsize wooden stools, which double as coffee tables, are inspired by African mortars. Shop the line at cb2.com.

Olivia Palermo X Sicily Hill

Street-style star Olivia Palermo partnered with Sicily Hill to create a candle inspired by Italian aperitivo — the tradition of having an early evening drink to whet your appetite before dinner. The exclusive scent is an intoxicating blend of fresh Sicilian lemon, peony, and white blossom.

An added bonus: the three-wick, soy-based candle is also sustainably chic. When empty, the sumptuous, high-gloss container makes an exquisite vessel for flowers.
