8541 Capri Drive, Now Now Now

Top to bottom refreshers. Looking at you, 8541 Capri Drive in East Dallas that feeds into Wallace Elementary no less. List of improvements on overflow…new, new, new. Paint. Fresh. Countertops. Replaced. Hardware. Poppin. I’m going to start using whole sentences now. Prepare yourself.

8541 Capri Drive, Way Back When

These homeowners did some seriously big stuff – bathrooms!! – but the real story here is how a fresh coat of paint and eye for detail can completely transform a space. And for all you gearheads out there, take comfort in this – that garage door belt? REPLACED.

Let’s start from the outside and work our way in. The current owners painted the brick a fantastic creamy white and painted the shutters a blue gray. So VERY nice to see a neutral color combo that’s not black and white or gray on gray on gray.

Inside, the rooms look dramatically different, but guess what that is? NEW PAINT AND FIXTURES. It’s really incredible what a difference it makes. The dining room alone went from totes traditional to modern transitional.

In the kitchen, the cabinets are the same, but again, a fresh coat of paint. Love the darker blue down and the white up top. Mixing it up like a freaking pro. New hardware as well. Countertops stayed the same but look totally different thanks to that baller backsplash.

Now the bathrooms got a little more than a refresh. They actually got a gut job. Let’s talk about new tile floor, marble countertop, marble shower in the primary, and cast iron tub in the secondary bathroom. Like what? What!! What. So sleek and pretty.

Out back there’s a little firepit added in the yard and a little peekaboo porch that was always there, but looks plussed up a bit with garden party lights and a full on dining table.

It’s a cutie for sure. Pop some waters in a cooler and go check it out.

Burke has this three-bedroom, two-and-one-half bathroom house listed for $549,900. There’s an Open House tomorrow, Saturday, June 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Stop by and say hey.

Before I sign off for good, let’s take a minute to talk about Burke. She always gets the CUTEST listings and does a ton of business over in Oak Cliff so if you’re interested in the good stuff, she’s one to watch.
