There are situations in life when you need a beautifully furnished, short-term, luxury lease. They are darned hard to find, but we’ve found one!

Maybe you’re remodeling and have to move out for a few months. You might be in a corporate relocation situation and arriving ahead of your family to start the job and the house hunt. You might consider turning to Airbnb or VRBO.

Try it.

I did a quick search in this price range. The most expensive of the Dallas options are not anywhere near the luxury level of this home. I have no idea what these hosts are thinking. What’s on offer is a combination of lousy location and questionable taste.

That’s the point. The key phrase in this scenario is short-term luxury. That’s hard enough to find. Add new construction and fully furnished into the mix, and that’s almost unheard of, but, here we go! Allie Beth Allman’s Alex Perry always has his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in our market.

“There are plenty of people looking for short-term luxury rentals,” Perry said. “We have a lot of people that have sold homes and need a place to live while waiting for construction of the new house to be finished. People with family here, coming to visit for the summer, and don’t want to be in a hotel.”

I’m not sure what more you could ask for in a short-term luxury lease. Not only is this one move-in ready, but it’s also in the Briarwood section of Bluffview. When you are looking for convenience and location, this neighborhood can’t be beat. This home was completed in 2019 with 5,011-square-feet, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a powder bath, a media room, a home gym (complete with Peloton!) and a rare three-car garage.

It’s within easy walking distance to the legendary Celebration restaurant and the trendy Drakes Steakhouse and Bar. You are minutes from Love Field Airport, the Dallas North Tollway, and a bike ride to the fantastic shops and restaurants at Inwood Village.

Allie Beth Allman’s Alex Perry has 4614 Purdue Avenue listed for $17,500 a month. All you need is your suitcase!
