Tuesday Two Hundreds are few and far between, but this contemporary Oak Cliff abode has upgraded features and a nice price.

Listed for $244,000 by Realtor Kylah Boyd of Texas Urban Living, the home at 3505 Los Angeles Blvd. has four bedrooms and two bathrooms on a huge lot.

“Ths home has been fully remodeled and has an open-concept layout that will win you over with modern touches, soothing gray paint, built-in shelving in the living room, and decorative lighting,” Boyd said.

It also has granite countertops, Samsung appliances, luxury waterproof laminate and scratch-resistant flooring, floating shelving in the bathrooms, and walk-in closets.

There’s a rain shower in the master bathroom, a large fenced-in backyard on the 9,932-square-foot lot, and new sod. The HVAC, roof, and furnace were replaced last year.

It sounds good as new, especially for a home built in 1968.

“It’s the most affordable home within a mile that has been fully renovated,” Boyd said.

The pictures speak a thousand words. This unique home is unlike any other, even those alongside it in the Oak Cliff neighborhood.

Ode To Oak Cliff

Oak Cliff, in my estimation, has been through some different iterations over the years.

With a history dating back to 1890, the neighborhood has seen all kinds of transition. There were times it may have been referred to as a “rough area,” but with new growth and development, and the burgeoning Bishop Arts District and nearby Trinity Groves entertainment district, Oak Cliff has seen new life in recent years.

The area is roughly bounded by Interstate 30, Loop 12, Interstate 35, and the Trinity River. As a Dallas institution, there are obviously plenty of hotspot dining and shopping options in the area.

Spring Break Is Officially In Session

As Dallas ISD schools enjoy an extended spring break, it might be a good time to do a little house hunting (with plenty of Lysol and hand sanitizer in your purse).

With a motivated seller and a price in the $200,000s, now is your chance to snag this unique home in the heart of the Big D.
