This home we’ve dubbed the Jamestown Jewelbox is a piece of art. Built in 1960 and completely renovated this year by Schultze Signature Homes, the $1.25 million showpiece leases for $15,000 per month – worth every penny for 4,156 square feet of perfection. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, it’s not outrageous, but rather functional with some definite bragging rights. And you could still get lost in the master bedroom.

It’s begging to be used as a backdrop for a dinner party or to host the work of a budding artist or photographer. Back in May, we used it to host a CandysDirt.com Open House featuring jewelry from Skibell Fine Jewelers. A champagne toast on the expansive entertainer’s terrace on the south rooftop is a must for New Year’s Eve.

Detail Oriented

Aside from the amazing architecture – it really is one of those drive-by-and-take-a-picture kind of homes – the interior detail is just as impressive.

The kitchen features a large quartz waterfall countertop, Thermador stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash, and MCM-inspired pendant lighting. A built-in beverage center with wine cooler, coffee maker, and microwave also is featured.

Floor-to-ceiling windows decorate the downstairs master bedroom, which also has double sliding doors. The master bath has a deep tub and separate shower. Words don’t really do it justice; thank goodness for good photos.

Personally, I get a little giddy about the idea of a library – especially one with French doors and access to a full bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower. I’d never leave the house; if the library gets too crowded, one could always enjoy a good book on that rooftop balcony.

Upstairs, guests or kids can enjoy a mixed-use media room and two bedrooms with their own private bathrooms.

“Clean lines and incredible natural light provide the perfect backdrop for luxurious living,” said Larry Breedlove of Ebby Halliday-Preston Keller.
