A Doug Hildinger Dream Contemporary Just Hit the Market in the Peninsula

Share News:

The Peninsula is one of our favorite neighborhoods in the City of Dallas. I have many friends who live there and love it, folks who have shed larger homes in the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, even Plano, to live on these quarter-acre slices of heaven with White Rock Lake a few steps out the front door.

Every time I drive in the Peninsula, I think, “Why don’t we live here?” It’s like coming home to a lake home: I could gaze at the sunlight dappling on the lake forever.

This 2015-built home is at 9333 Biscayne Boulevard, with a clear White Rock Lake view from the second story master. Designed by AIA architect and builder Douglas Hildinger, the contemporary home is loaded with strikingly great clean design. And it just came on the market.

Doug Hildinger is renown in Dallas, and one of our favorite architects. His design and builds in this area carry a little more weight because of his vast knowledge of the neighborhood: Hildinger has lived in the Peninsula for over a dozen years and has designed many of the newer homes in this remarkable niche area.

Windows flood the home with natural light, a Hildinger signature, creating a jewel box effect to showcase your personal art collection. The walls are museum- finished walls, with custom art by Laura Walters, and lighting by Douglas Architectural Lighting & Artemide and Driade. The kitchen is a unique Valcucine Italian kitchen by Pohlenz Cucine Moderne. Tile is by Porcelanosa. The home comes equipped with a full home automation system by Crestron. You will entertain with ease because of the traffic flow, surround sound indoors and out.

The backyard is a Zen-like retreat with a bubbling fountain that will remind you of the bigger body of water and biking trails only a few steps away. The home is listed by Jacob Moss with Compass for $1,395,000.
