CandysDirt.com and Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove will host a panel discussion on innovation and disruption in the home building industry on March 26.

We talk a lot about disruption and innovation here at CandysDirt.com, largely in the realm of the real estate business. But we also know that the same dynamic takes place in the building and design world as well. Who are the disruptors and innovators in the building world? How do you build change into your business plan? What has changed in the past five years when it comes to energy efficiency and even what customers desire?

We’ll delve into all that and more in a forward-looking panel with some phenomenal builder experts on March 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The folks at Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove partnered with CandysDirt to talk about innovation, as well as how their showroom can be an asset for builders, realtors, and designers who want to train staff about the latest appliances, or help clients visualize what their dream kitchen looks like.

Founder and publisher Candy Evans will host a panel discussion with Chris Dauwe of Rosewood Custom Builders, Todd  Handwerk of Calais Custom Homes, and Alan Hoffmann of Hoffmann Homes.

We know you’ve seen their work around town (and all over North Texas, really). A couple of these companies have found their way to our site at least once, as well.

6723 Sunnyland Lane, Dallas, Rosewood Custom Builders

Rosewood Custom Builders has graced our site, and is a family-operated luxury home builder. How gorgeous are their homes? They’ve graced the likes of Dream Kitchens and Baths magazine and Elle Decor (and they also caught our Karen Eubank’s well trained and particular eye, too, which is a badge all of its own).

10739 Bridge Hollow Court, Dallas, Calais Custom Homes

Calais Custom Homes crafts gorgeous homes all over North Texas, including tony areas like Preston Hollow and Vaquero in Westlake. Founded in 1986 by Handwerk, the company has garnered plenty of accolades from the custom home building industry, including the Grand Award in the Tarrant County Spring Tour of Homes, and articles in Southern Living, Builder/Architect, and Professional Builder magazines.

Custom Construction in Kerens, Texas, Hoffmann Homes

Hoffmann Homes was established in 1987, when its namesake Alan Hoffmann married his extensive background in real estate with his fascination with technology and architecture with the aim of setting out to change the way homes were built, using the latest in design and building concepts for a thoroughly modern home. The company has been named one of Dallas’s Best Builders in D Home multiple years, and picked up several ARC awards from the Dallas Builders Association, including a 2014 ARC for Best Green Home under $1 million.

Join Candy and our panelists for a night of insights and innovation, at the Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Showroom at 3707 Lemmon Avenue, Dallas. In addition to learning opportunities, guests will have the chance to nosh on an incredible appetizer menu that includes seafood pico de gallo with house-fried chips and a gourmet flatbread station.

Sounds like a great event, I’d love to go. The “Buy Tickets” button is not working.

Sorry about that – it appears the button function is having issues. Try clicking on the invite at the bottom of the page, that should get you to the event page.
