Ground-Floor Condo Quick Walk to Greenville St. Patrick’s Day Parade

GreenvilleIf you’ve gone to the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on Greenville Avenue at least once, you know that parking can be a bit at a premium — so for this week’s Tuesday Two Hundred, we were on the hunt for a great pad within walking distance to the parade.

And we found it. No need to move your car if you live in this two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath, ground-level condo in the gated University Crossroads — it’s literally at the corner of Greenville Avenue and East Mockingbird Lane, and a quick walk up to the end of the parade route at SMU Boulevard and Greenville.

It’s also quite close, of course, to a lot of shopping and restaurants, too.

Condo living might not seem private, but this pretty abode has a private front entrance plus a private fenced yard and deck, giving a bit more privacy than some condos might.

Inside, it’s been remodeled and updated from the paint on the walls to the kitchen and baths and more. Both bedrooms have en-suite baths, and the powder room still provides accommodations for guests when you’re entertaining.

Downstairs, a living area is open to the kitchen, and that private deck is accessible by French doors.

Additionally, in the hot summer months, the community pool provides a place to cool off.

Priced at $254,900, this adorable 1,100 square foot condo is listed by Terri Patrick Cox with Allie Beth Allman and Associates.

Bethany Erickson lives in a 1961 Fox and Jacobs home with her husband, a second-grader, and Conrad Bain the dog. If she won the lottery, she'd by an E. Faye Jones home.
She's taken home a few awards for her writing, including a Gold award for Best Series at the 2018 National Association of Real Estate Editors journalism awards, a 2018 Hugh Aynesworth Award for Editorial Opinion from the Dallas Press Club, and a 2019 award from NAREE for a piece linking Medicaid expansion with housing insecurity.
She is a member of the Online News Association, the Education Writers Association, the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and the Society of Professional Journalists.
She doesn't like lima beans or the word moist.

That should be University Blvd just East of Greenville Ave (not at Mockingbird)
