Our Splurge: 2300 Wolf Street, Unit 9A,  is listed by Sharon Quist of Dave Perry-Miller Park Cities for $3,300,000.

Nothings says “I have arrived” like living in a Dallas condo high above the city. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, a busy professional climbing the ranks, or an empty nester looking for the convenience of high-rise living, Dallas has something for you. Which is exactly why we chose Uptown for our latest Splurge vs. Steal.

Offering hip cocktail lounges, a posh shopping scene, and plenty of walkable, live-work-play stops along the way, Uptown is a place to see and be seen. Looking for an Uptown home to call your own? Here we feature two Uptown condos, each with updated interiors and a prime Uptown Dallas address, but with price points that are miles apart.

Tell us which one you would choose – the super luxe Stoneleigh splurge or the Brownstone State Street steal. We would love to hear in the comments.

Splurge: Ultra Luxe Residences At The Stoneleigh Condo For $3.3M

This three-bedroom, three-full-and-one-half-bathroom condo is a head-turner indeed. Outfitted with custom touches throughout, you’ll enjoy the building’s A floor plan, which totals 4,216 square feet. It comes complete with a study-den, open kitchen, living, dining area, not one but two balconies, and impressive downtown Dallas views! It’s a lifestyle that is unmatched in Uptown, and the Residences at the Stoneleigh describe it best:

“If architecture were fashion, the Residences at the Stoneleigh would be that timeless pairing of a black jacket with a white shirt — sharp and seductive, crisp and classic. The alluring decor synthesizes 19th-century French, Greek and Modernist touches. It’s Hollywood Glamour meets Art Deco — international opulence with a posh blend of colors and patterns, creating an elegant, sophisticated edge.”

Sophisticated and transitional finishes make up the interior, which boasts a master suite decked out in Calacatta marble with oversized shower, separate bathtub, dual vanities, two water closets, dual walk-in closets, a coffee bar, and private balcony with Dove Gray fireplace wall.

It also affords floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the home with natural light, plus gleaming hardwoods, Phillip Jeffries wall coverings, and of course a gourmet kitchen with walnut cabinets, and Wolf, SubZero, and Bosch appliances. As if that wasn’t enough, you get the best perk of all – living at the Stoneleigh Residences and indulging in their superior world-class amenities.

You might notice we don’t have pictures showing the inside of the condo unit. That’s because this particular condo is just now being completed. For those that missed the Open House last weekend, just give listing agent Sharon Quist a call for more info and schedule a tour.

I would choose the State Street brownstone. The ceilings should have been raised, but decor is great.
