Signs Point to Compass For Fort Worth Super Agent John Zimmerman

Share News:

As we previously reported, Fort Worth-based real estate super agent John Zimmerman has become the first and newest member of the Fort Worth office of Compass, an upstart technology and real estate company.

Tabbing Zimmerman as agent No. 1 on the Fort Worth roster hardly comes as a surprise.

“I’m having my most successful year,” explained Zimmerman in a recent interview with CandysDirt.com.  “Compass is the most sophisticated company in the real estate world. Why would I jump to a new broker if I didn’t believe that they could offer buyers and sellers a substantial amount more.”

Originated in New York City in 2012, Compass has been aggressively targeting high-profile agents all across the United States as a way to break into existing market and gain immediate traction. At the heart of the Compass foray into real estate is their proprietary technology, data and infrastructure on which the future of the real estate industry will operate.

“When I met with Compass in New York City, I walked into the office and saw some of the most sophisticated software engineers working on ground breaking solutions to help agents better serve our clients,” Zimmerman expounded. “The Compass platform will provide better, crisper, agent-centric marketing and technology that will allow for better responses from the public.”

With Compass founder and CEO Robert Reffkin, Zimmerman hopes to continue to set personal sales records.

While Zimmerman and his team are the only agents currently on the Compass roster in Fort Worth,  the recruiting department is already in full swing reaching out to other high profile producers on the west side of the Metroplex.

“There will soon be a temporary office for Compass in Tarrant County, and hopefully we’ll announce a permanent location for a brick-and-mortar office complex soon,” said Zimmerman.

Zimmerman also noted that he would not be part of the recruiting process or managing the new office in any way.

“I’m still doing what I do best — meeting with Buyers and Sellers — helping homes get bought and sold,” he said. “I just have sharper tools to utilize now that I am with Compass.”

This has been a special report by Tarrant County Tuesday blogger and Williams Trew Real Estate Super Agent Seth Fowler.  Statements and opinions are his and his alone.  Seth has been involved with the home sales and real estate industry in the Fort Worth area since 2004.  He and his family have lived in the area for over 15  years.  Seth also loves bowties!  You can reach Seth at: 817.980.6636 or [email protected].
