Catch Up with this Casa View Cutie Before Someone Swoops It Up | CandysDirt.com

Casa View is an area on the rise in East Dallas. People love its proximity to all things East Dallas as well as highways for getting around, charmed neighborhood personality, mature trees, and lots of reasonably priced and cozy houses. It’s totally possible to buy something renovated and cute as can be for under $300K.

That’s the case with our Tuesday Two Hundred, a flip located at 10340 Estacado Dr. in the Eastridge Park section of Casa View near Gus Thomasson and Ferguson roads. It is recently renovated and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,274 square feet on one story, built in 1954.

This house has excellent curb appeal, although the photo above doesn’t do it justice (it was snapped before the professional pics below on a not-so-sunny day). The brick is freshly painted a crisp white and all windows are new, accentuated beautifully by an arching shade tree and landscaping. Oh, hello lovely.

But this Casa View house more than a pretty face. The owners replaced the electrical panel, HVAC system, ductwork, and water heater. They also made plumbing and electrical upgrades throughout.

Beauty was restored to original hardwood floors throughout, which now glow in a rich walnut color. A contemporary color palette includes white, a medium-cool blue, and grays. It gives the interior a crisp, tidy look buyers are sure to appreciate.

The partially open floorplan makes the most of this house’s modest footprint. For example, the kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, which increases the sense of flow. Recessed lights and new light fixtures enhance the natural light in these rooms, which also creates the perception of more space.

The kitchen delights with custom white Shaker style cabinets, open shelving, oversized subway tile backsplash, white quartz countertops, a breakfast bar, and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range. Nearby is a separate laundry room.

Another highlight of the home is a large master suite, an unusual feature for the neighborhood. Frosted glass double doors lead to the room, which features a walk-in closet and ensuite bath. The master bath has teal-and-white accents in the oversized, frameless glass shower with oversized subway tile and mosaic accent tile accents.

This home was listed Feb. 23 by Shelly Seltzer with Ebby Halliday Realtors for $264,900.
