Crystal Gonzalez High Caliber Agent

If you’ve ever driven down West Davis Street toward the Bishop Arts District, you already know Crystal Gonzalez’s face. This North Oak Cliff Realtor takes great pride in representing some of the most beautiful and sought-after neighborhoods and enclaves in the area.

She’s driven, dynamic, and service-focused, earning her a near-permanent spot on “best of” lists — reason enough to call her this week’s High Caliber Agent sponsored by Lisa Peters at Caliber Home Loans. While we are always impressed with this West Texas-born gal, we wanted to find out more about her approach to building the kinds of relationships in this business that mean long-term success. This week, get to know this David Griffin & Company Realtor a little better after the jump!

Real estate is a very competitive business. To what or whom do you owe your success?

Crystal Gonzalez: I consider myself a true salesperson, and as a salesperson you develop portions of your technique, style, delivery, cadence, etc. from many people and experiences along the way. A few of the people who really had an impact on some of my collective approach would be my sales manager in radio sales at Clear Channel, Paul Davis, or Al Coker with my first opportunity in real estate sales at Al Coker & Associates. Of course there’s so many more people and experiences that have had an impact, but those are two top of mind great sales people and motivators who I owe a great deal to.

Outside of day-to-day business, what are you passionate about?

Gonzalez: As a working mother, my children’s education and our faith is important to me. I’m actively involved on the board of RECPTA, helping create the best public school environment for children in the Rosemont school attendance zone as possible. I also serve on the board of an exciting up-and-coming neighborhood church called Trinity Parish. Both these organizations stand for something greater than the sum of it’s parts and I’m honored to continue working in tandem with so many great people in each organization. As for hobbies, shopping takes the cake.

What (or who) is your inspiration?

Gonzalez: My children motivate me daily, but growing up I’ve always felt empowered through observing successful women throughout history and modern day culture. From Frida Kahlo, Jennifer Lopez, Aerin Lauder, or Patricia Gucci, there’s just something sexy in every self-empowered, fabulous woman.

Why is finding the right lender crucial to your success?

Gonzalez: For me, to have a successful real estate transaction and appreciative long-term clients requires my attention to detail along several different steps in a given transaction, regardless of price. From inspectors, appraisers, title companies, buyers and sellers, etc. it all ultimately requires a lender who can carry the torch I pass to them providing the same care and attention I give my clients as they achieve their financial goals. Without the right lender, the transaction can still succeed but my name and my brand can be adversely affected by poor service, that’s not how I like to do my business. I have high expectations of my lender, which Caliber Home Loans has always managed to meet.
