Nothing is better to do in spring than lay by the pool with a stack of really great reading. And if you love houses, don’t miss the spring 2016 edition of Grand Vie: Luxury in Living magazine recently mailed to homes across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Grand Vie is the luxury-home publication of Ebby Halliday Realtors and the newest member of the Ebby Halliday Companies, Fort Worth-based Williams Trew Real Estate.

The bound publication is direct-mailed to approximately 60,000 high-net-worth households in Dallas, Collin, Rockwall and Tarrant counties. Charity and event placement is also a significant part of the Grand Vie distribution strategy – placing luxury homes listed by Ebby Halliday and Williams Trew in front of North Texas’ most prime luxury home buying audience.

“Not only has our magazine’s distribution grown significantly across North Texas, it also includes some of the very best luxury real estate companies outside of our local market, in such locations as Beverly Hills/LA, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, Palm Beach, Newport Beach, Santa Barbara and Vail,” says Randall Graham, vice president and director of marketing for Ebby Halliday Realtors. “The trust clients place in us to represent one of their most important assets is a role we are honored to fulfill.”

In addition to featuring some of Dallas-Fort Worth’s premier luxury properties, the 19th edition of Grand Vie offers a plethora of interesting editorial content, including “Child’s Play,” featuring advice on designing the ideal bedroom for your child from partner and designer of IBB Design Fine Furnishings Shay Geyer; “Houses of Art,” highlighting some of the area’s top cultural events of the season; special sections for farm & ranch and lake properties; and LuxeTrends, showcasing a collection of the latest luxury lifestyle must-haves. “Real Estate insider Candy Evans’ take on the importance of global marketing in the luxury-home market segment.”

I did a nice little interview with the folks at Luxury Portfolio, who have just inked a deal with Concierge Auctions, by the way. This is historic news for the independent luxury brokerage community and any real estate professional who represents luxury properties.

In forming an exclusive partnership with Luxury Portfolio International, the luxury division of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, Concierge Auctions is ushering in the promise of its services — “We are real estate.” Indeed, while modifying the traditional luxury real estate sales model, Concierge Auctions founder, president and CEO Laura Brady and Chairman Chad Roffers remain true to their roots. Brady, a top producing luxury agent before the age of 30 and Roffer, a former luxury broker-owner and entrepreneur, met in 2004 and decided to fix what they saw as a broken process: No matter how stunning the property, when a luxury home sits on the market for too long, often agents and brokers are left with few options.

In addition to the exposure luxury properties receive in Grand Vie, listings priced at or above $750,000 benefit from extensive national and international exposure provided by Luxury Portfolio, the Ebby Halliday Companies’ luxury marketing partner.

“The approximately 200 firms that comprise Luxury Portfolio are some of the most powerful independent brokerages worldwide,” says Graham. “This prestigious network represents more $1 million-plus properties than any other luxury real estate network and provides strong connections to well-respected firms worldwide.”
