Love Kaboom Town! But Hate The Traffic? These Five Homes Are Within Walking Distance of the Fireworks

Tomorrow is Addison’s 30th annual fireworks extravaganza, Kaboom Town. It’s a night during which the Dallas North Tollway is involuntarily shut down due to rubberneckers and horrible drivers who lacked the forethought to find a place to stay near the event. It doesn’t help that most people are working today and that the event starts right before rush hour at 4 p.m.
If you’re in love with this tradition but are sick and tired of all of the traffic, perhaps it’s time to consider a condo or townhome close to Addison Circle. We’ve picked out five great options that give you plenty of space and amenities, plus easy access to Addison Circle, the site of this and every year’s Kaboom Town. Jump to see them all!
This townhome is not only completely updated, but it offers a corner lawn area plus a large balcony just off of the kitchen and dining room from which you can take in the skies during the Kaboom Town! festival. The master suite is on the third floor and has a full-sized shower and garden tub, as well as a large double-sink vanity.
This second-floor unit sports a private terrace that is large enough to host a few friends for a fireworks watch party. This is a brand new build, too, with an empty lot next door. That means fewer obstructions of your view, for now, at least.
This loft-style condo is right on Addison Circle and is perfect for someone who wants to live a car-free life and loves the idea of being close to pretty much anything they want or need. Plus, this would be a great spot for someone who travels a fair bit and wants to rent their home through AirBnb for a second stream of income.
This end-unit townhome is just adorable and couldn’t be more cozy inside. There’s a great bit of green space around this unit, and it’s on one of the cutest streets near Addison Circle. Sure, the balcony is tiny, but the floorplan is open and it is in terrific shape.
When you consider size and location, this townhome on Quorum is a great deal. Sure, the balcony is tiny and faces the alleyway, but there is a lot of space, it’s got a great little green space in front, and it’s super walkable and close to all the action in Addison Circle without having to be directly ON Addison Circle.
So, which would be your choice for a great pad from which you can watch Kaboom Town! without having to brave traffic?
