Tuesday Two Hundred: Brilliant Updates Make This Lake Highlands Home Sensational

Share News:

lake highlands homeToday’s Tuesday Two Hundred will leave you amazed that so many high-end amenities and thoughtful details are available in a Lake Highlands home for under $300K.

The house at 10006 Chimney Hill Ln. is located in the Country Forest-Jackson Meadows neighborhood, about as far north as you can go in Lake Highlands before bumping into Richardson. This is outside the LBJ loop, and for some, that’s a deal breaker. But I promise, once you see this house, you won’t care. (And really, it’s fewer than ten minutes to White Rock Lake and  NorthPark Center, minutes away from the Richardson Tech Corridor, and only 15 minutes north of downtown Dallas. Perspective, y’all.)

The master bathroom is a real stunner, with an unusual center vanity with two sinks, granite counters, and lots of storage. There is also ample closet space, decorative and recessed lighting, a private water closet, and spa-like steam shower.

It’s a 3-3 with 2,619 square feet, built in 1979. Inside, you’ll find everything from handscraped hardwood floors and a kitchen with custom cabinetry, to cedar-paneled vaulted ceilings and a stunning master bathroom.

This stunner is newly listed by Angela Garcia with Keller Williams Realty Arlington for $295,000.

The vaulted ceilings are paneled with cedar wood and the room is generously sized for large furniture.

A block of built-in cabinets provides lots of storage and windows and glass doors offer a glimpse to the covered patio.

The master bathroom was another big reno in this Lake Highlands house. That center vanity is a unique feature, making the room easy to navigate, from the private toilet area to large closets. And the shower! It’s huge, a walk-in steam area with multiple shower heads, body sprays, a seating area, and natural stone accents.

One of the bathrooms has granite counters, a new sink, and features. The other is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with double sinks, lots of cabinet space, and privacy windows.

Large doors open to a private outdoor area with a hot tub—leave those doors open, and you can watch TV from the water. So nice!

This home is within easy walking distance of the world class Richland College Collegiate High School STEM program that offers dual credit for the last two years of high school and the first two years of college simultaneously.

This is a charter school which charges no tuition to its students.

Richland College is a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient. Its tennis courts, padded jogging track and well populated duck ponds are zero cost amenities to area residents.
