Lifestyle Show Coming to WFAA-TV 8 Starring Wife of Dallas Home Builder Simmie Cooper

Get ready for yet another fun show on WFAA-TV Channel with Susie McAuley and Linda Cooper, who just happens to be the wife of Dallas home builder Simmie Cooper. Among other modern and Mediterranean homes he has built, Simmie (who’s from South Africa) built the home that Shawn Marion bought off Strait Lane on Isabella. He also built a striking modern on Inwood (just north of Walnut Hill, east side) for a physician, and is working on another signature contemporary on Royal Lane. Meantime, his adorable wife Linda, a California girl, is one of my favorite peeps: she shops for her cardio, and loves champagne:
Dallas, Texas – Cooper/McAuley Productions announced the premiere of the new lifestyle show, Live Love Laugh Today with Linda Cooper and Susie McAuley, scheduled to debut in Dallas/Fort Worth on the ABC Network (Channel 8) on September 15th. The show hosts, Linda Cooper and Susie McAuley, have combined their national brands, Shopping Is My Cardio and Susie Homemaker, respectively, to bring viewers a refreshing new lifestyle show designed with them in mind.
Live Love Laugh Today with Linda Cooper & Susie McAuley will feature quality programming that informs and entertains in a fun, “between us girlfriends” delivery. The show’s topics will include travel, health and cooking, as well as feature special segments, including Shopping Is My Cardio, Susie Homemaker, Modern Living by Cantoni, Ticket to Hollywood with Movie Tavern, The Grilling Guys, Build It With Bruce, NuSkin Beauty and The Gaylord Buzz.
The show hosts are no strangers to broadcast television. Cooper’s signature TV segment, “Shopping Is My Cardio” has been featured on several TV shows and is also the namesake of her blog. Cooper has been a featured host on a variety of television shows, including Designing DFW with Jocelyn White, Good Morning Texas, Hot! On Homes, Inside DFW and Home and Lifestyle Television. A native of Los Angeles, Cooper earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from California State University Northridge.
McAuley brings more than 20 years of television broadcasting experience to the show, along with her national brand, Susie Homemaker, that aired on HSN. McAuley has appeared regularly on the Fox 4 Good Day TV Show, Good Morning Texas and Designing DFW TV shows. She is best known for conducting and featuring home makeovers and also wrote a column called Ask Susie Homemaker in Home Improvement Magazine.
