Candy’s Lease of the Week: Sometimes You Just Want to Go Where the Lights Are Low DOWNTOWN

This is what so many of my friends, young and old (like me!) are doing: renting a really great condo to test the urban lifestyle. I’m looking at you, Alicia Trevino! I don’t know about you, but I even feel THINNER when I’m downtown.

Local Dwelling has a rare 3 bedroom luxury residence in the uber boutique-y 1505 Elm Street. Rent is ONLY $2650 a month, one pet allowed. You get 2650 square feet, not one but two master suites, which makes for a most comfy guest room. Picture perfect windows everywhere, a third bedroom that would make a great second living area or office, a great gourmet 1505 Elm Kitchenkitchen with the requisite granite, stainless, gourmet appliances all open to the dining area with something I must have in my next house: a fireplace in the dining room. I saw one over on Lloyd Valley this weekend and am just in love. Makes so much sense to have a crackling fire by the table when you dine!  This condo even has a powder room for guests, so when you have those big parties you won’t have to sanitize your potty at 3 a.m. And have parties you will because you are DOWNTOW! I don’t have to tell you how convenient — ditch your car and walk to the Nasher, the Arts District, West End, or “DART-IT” anywhere else. This is a true test of whether you ought to take advantage of that two year investment back guarantee over at Museum Tower…

Now here’s a little mind game: just how much would this place cost in the Big Apple?1505 Elm #703 pool 1505 Elm #503 1505 Elm ext
