Tuesday Two Hundred: Have a Merry Merry in Merriman Park for $279K

Not only is this 1900 square foot holiday angel located in one of the best neighborhoods around, it’s been totally renovated from the gleaming, gorgeous hardwoods to everyone’s stainless kitchen delight with custom cabinets, quartz counters and glass tile backsplash. The two bathrooms have been completely updated, none of this “toss in a new commode and Home Depot sink stuff”. All innards updated, too like the electrical panel, light fixtures, roof, HVAC, and really great thermal windows that keep in the warm or cool air. Three bedrooms, two baths (full, darling) and formals. Two car garage. Plus I love the cool mid-century style that is very sixties because that’s when the home was built: 1960, pre JFK.

I predict a resurgence of ’60’s style soon: mini skirts, straight hair and bangs. Hell, let’s dig out Twiggy and see how well she is preserved! Reminds me of a home I lived in when I was a teen up near Chicago in a place called “Blackhawk Manor” where all the streets had Indian names. God, how original!  $279,000 with Alan Hamilton, Keller Williams City Center. I love this house!
